School choirs from throughout Montana perform. Celebrate America was created by Janis to spotlight our nation's youth and to pull communities together in a celebration of music that uplifts and inspires.

School choirs from throughout Montana perform in this special presentation created to spotlight our nation's youth, and pull communities together in an uplifting and inspiring celebration of music. The program, hosted by Musical Director Tim Janis, along with Montana State University School of Music faculty members, Elizabeth Schmidt and Gregory Young, was taped in January 2022 at the KUSM - Montana PBS studio in Bozeman. School buses brought hundreds of students from Montana school music programs including Anaconda, Belgrade, Big Sandy, Choteau, Corvallis, Fairfield, Powell County, Red Lodge, Ronan, Sacajawea Middle School, and Sweet Grass County. Well-prepared and very professional, each choir came into the studio to record their performance, sharing their talent with all of Montana.

Tim Janis, familiar to public broadcasting audiences from programs such as Celtic Heart, An Enchanted Evening, Beautiful America and Coastal America, is well known for his "Music with a Mission" philosophy, and has worked on many philanthropic projects.
