The PBS KIDS Box was designed as a FREE monthly subscription for Early Childhood Educators available through PBS member stations. Teachers who subscribe will get a PBS KIDS box in the mail once a month for 5 months! 

 

Each kit contains 

  • Picture books
  • Resources for hands-on classroom activities, 
  • Teaching tips to help educators make the most of the experience
  • Take-home activities to help students practice skills at home with parents or caregivers
  • Each box features a beloved PBS KIDS stuffy or game for the class to enjoy as they learn with PBS KIDS characters such as Peg + Cat, Daniel Tiger, Donkey Hodie, Super Why and Elinor Wonders Why! 
  • Other fun goodies for teachers, kids and their families

 

PBS KIDS Box content has been developed for the following curriculum areas

  • Social -Emotional Learning
  • Literacy
  • Math and Problem Solving
  • Science and Engineering

 

 

PBS Family Fun Kits are delivered to local childcare centers and preschools serving children ages 3-5 by Montana PBS Education staff. Each month the kits are centered around a different theme, including PBS KIDS shows like Daniel Tiger and Peg + Cat, social and emotional skills, STEM activities, and more. Inside each kit is a hands-on craft, a PBS article focused on that month’s theme, and other goodies.
