Pet owners and livestock producers alike use the services of our veterinarians. Some vets specialize in large animals, like horses of every sort, hogs, sheep & goats, cattle & bison. Other vets restrict their practice to domestic pets ranging from dogs and cats to canaries, bunnies, turtles and iguanas. How do we educate vets? Montana State University, along with Higher Ed units in Idaho and Utah, collaborates with Washington State University in its Regional Program in Veterinary Medical Education. Mark Quinn, MSU-Bozeman Professor of Microbiology and Director of MSU's Veterinary Science Program (WIMU), will bring viewers up to date on the University’s Vet Science program.
