Montana PBS is facing a massive federal funding cut, but some generous donors have stepped forward with a remarkable $900,000 dollar matching gift to help us bridge the gap.

On Friday, July 18th, the U.S. House voted to pass H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, which clawed back two years of previously approved funding for the CPB. As a result of the bill’s passage, Montana PBS will experience a budget cut of approximately $1.8 million beginning in October. A message from General Managers Aaron Pruitt and Anne Hosler.
