Appy Hour | Introduction to PBS Kids Resources

Our workshops teach families how to use online and offline PBS Kids content. These resources aim to enhance literacy and STEM skills in preparation for success in school. This is also an opportunity for families to engage in open dialogue about screen time and media use with young children. Workshops are free and held in partnership with other non-profit organizations and schools.

PBS Kids Family Night in a Box

Family nights just got more fun with our Family Night in a Box! Our PBS Kids Boxes are free and can be shipped to libraries, homes and childcare centers. Each box contains a collection of hands-on activities using media to enhance literacy and STEM learning, and all the materials you need to complete it along with fun PBS Kids swag! Keep the box to enjoy again or send it back so another family can enjoy our PBS Kids Family Night in a Box!

Family Creative Learning Workshops

This engaging series of workshops introduces families with children ages 5-8 to digital and tangible tools they can use to promote learning. Parents and children use engineering practices and perspectives to imagine, plan, design and create projects while learning about computation, space, science and earth science.
