Fall 2014

Race For The U.S. House - Fall 2014 (No. 801)

In a wide open U.S. House race, MontanaPBS presents a televised debate between candidates John Lewis (D) and Ryan Zinke (R). Moderated by the Montana Television Network's Jay Kohn, journalists will question the candidates in front of a live audience in Bozeman. Coverage will include post-debate analysis by MTN’s political analyst, David Parker. (First Aired Saturday, October 4, 2014)


Race for the U.S. Senate (No. 802)

In a wide open U.S. Senate race, MontanaPBS presents a televised debate between candidates Steve Daines (R) and Amanda Curtis (D). Moderated by the Montana Television Network's Jay Kohn, journalists will question the candidates in front of a live audience in the Petro Theater at MSU-Billings. MontanaPBS will provide full analysis and fact checking following the debate. (First Aired Monday, October 20, 2014)

Fall 2012

Race for the Governor (No. 703)

Journalists, citizens and students will ask questions of the qualifying candidates live from Missoula. With no incumbent candidate, the race is wide open for Montana's Governor. Montana Public Media partners will also provide post-debate analysis. (First Aired Wednesday, October 10, 2012)


Race for the U.S. Senate (No. 702)

This is one of the most closely watched political races in the country. Montana Public Media partners present the first televised debate between incumbent U.S. Senator Jon Tester and challenger U.S. Representative Denny Rehberg. A panel of journalists will question the candidates in front of a live audience at the Petro Theater on the campus of MSU-Billings. (First Aired Monday, October 08, 2012)


Race for U.S. House of Representatives (No. 701)

Candidates for Montana's lone spot in the U.S. House of Representatives debate the issues live on MontanaPBS. While the media has overlooked this race, Montanans face an important decision about who will represent them in congress.
