John Dahl was born in Billings, Montana in 1956. By the early 1990s, this former Boy Scout had made his mark on Hollywood by directing three breakthrough movies: Kill Me Again, Red Rock West, and The Last Seduction. Based on revealing interviews with Dahl himself, this program explores his Montana roots and the unlikely path that turned him into the master of the new film noir.
