Joe Sample & Conrad Burns Honored by Friends

Posted by Sandhya Thangavel on

Joe Sample and Sen. Conrad Burns were honored on August 11 by the Friends for their dedication to MontanaPBS and the important part each played in the development of our new Billings over-the-air signal channel 20.

Friends of MontanaPBS board members Nancy Flikkema and Joan Coffin presented Sample and Burns with plaques commemorating their years of support.

The Friends also thanked Monty Wallis, station manager for KTVQ, for his demonstrated commitment to partnerships between commercial and public broadcasters.

MontanaPBS began broadcasting its free, over-the-air signal to Billings and the surrounding communities in July 2004.
