Locking Horns Over The National Bison Range

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, which helped save the bison from extinction in the early 1900s, now want to help manage the National Bison Range. The tribes and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have come up with a proposal to do just that, but critics say the proposal puts the Bison Range at risk and sets a dangerous precedent for parks and refuges across the United States.
