Since the debut of the program in May 1991, the Backroads crew has produced 29 half-hour episodes that air regularly on Montana PBS. The series has traveled across the state and visited its unique people and places.
In this episode we drop by East Helena to take a look at one of the largest barns in the West, visit a farmer working to get his crop combined near Windham, have a gander at entries in the whimsical "What the Hay" contest between Hobson and Utica in Judith Basin, visit Glacier National Park, and watch from a safe distance when the dirt flies at a motorcycle hill-climb near Billings.
